PLRB/LIRB 2009 Regional Adjusters Conferences
Adjuster Continuing Education Credits have been requested and approved as noted below. You must verify attendance at all sessions with presenter signatures. Any PLRB staff member may sign for the General Session. Take the attendance record to the eligible session(s) for which you want CEs. One of the presenters will collect the sheet at the beginning of the session, sign it, and return it to you at the end. You must attend the full session to receive credit for that session.
|
Important: |
Please verify that your adjuster license is active in the states to which you are applying for continuing education credits. |
CE APPROVALS (as of June 23, 2009)
The Florida Dept. of Financial Services, New Hampshire Insurance Dept. and Texas Dept. of Insurance have each approved specific PLRB-sponsored sessions for adjuster continuing education credit. Florida has approved these sessions for 1.0 hours of credit each. New Hampshire and Texas have approved sessions for 1.5 hours of credit each. A grid of approved sessions is on the reverse side.
Please note that the PLRB Web Services educational session has not been approved by Florida, New Hampshire and Texas for CE credit.
North Carolina Dept. of Insurance has approved the Conference as 2 separate days for 6 hours each day (12 total hours of credit.) Attendance is required in all breakout periods on a given day. Credit for attendance on Wednesday must include the General Session. You may attend any sessions you wish.
CPCUs attending this program will be awarded 12 points under the Continuing Professional Development program for CPCUs.
Society of Registered Professional Adjusters will award 13 CE credits for successful completion of one of the three regional adjuster conferences. You must be a member of the RPA Society to request these credits. There is no Attendance Record to have signed and then mailed to RPA. After you attend the Conference, go to www.rpa-adjuster.com to submit your continuing education credits online. The new submission forms acknowledge that RPA members are trustworthy, ethical, and professional.
■■■
The fee is $50 per state to process continuing education requests to the states noted above. For example, if you apply for three states, you would send a check (company or personal) or credit card information for $150 with your original Attendance Record to PLRB. This fee is applicable regardless of the number of continuing education credits requested.
There are no fees paid to PLRB for CPCU-CPD or RPA credits.
